Los Al defeated Mira Costa in four sets and Cerritos beat Pasadena Poly in four sets Tuesday night in girls volleyball semifinals, sending both teams CIF championship games this weekend.
CIF will announced dates and times on Wednesday. It's likely Los Al will play for the D-IAA title on Saturday night, while Cerritos will vye for the D-IIIA crown on Friday. Check back Wednesday for the schedule.

Thanks for the ink the Los Alamitos Girls volleyball has recieved from the Press Telegram this year. They have been nationally ranked all year, won the Sunset League again, fashioned a record of 30 and 7, yet rarely recieve any attention from the Orange County Fishwrapper. Maybe when the Griffin's win CIF against Newport Harbor Saturday night the OC Fishwrap will be forced to finally devote some precious OC kudos to the Los Alamitos Program.
