After losing a pair of receivers to Fresno State recently, Cal was in big need for a playmaker on the outside, so the Bears brought in Poly speedster Kaelin Clay over the weekend.

Clay jumped at Cal's offer.

"I had a great time on the visit and when they decided to offer me a scholarship, I basically committed almost on the spot. I told myself before the visit that if Cal offered and I was comfortable there, I would go ahead and jump on it and that's what happened. I talked with Coach (Jeff) Tedford and he's a real good guy. They have some big plans for me and I'm excited to be a Bear," Clay said in an ESPN report.

Clay caught 24 balls for 459 yards and four TDs, and he also ran for 548 yards and six more TDs this season.
