Cerritos up big on LBCC at halftime

A pair of Cerritos College quarterbacks have thrown for 301 yards and four TDs in the first half, and the Falcons are routing host Long Beach City 38-7 at halftime.
Brandon Denker has thrown for 189 yards and all four scores. He completed 11 of 13 passes and threw TD passes to Garion Manning, Tristan Henderson, Jeff Lavulo and Lindsey Anderson, all in the first quarter. The Falcons led 31-0 after the first.
In the second quarter, Morgan Fennell added 112 passing yards and led Cerritos on another scoring drive. Fennell extended the drive with a 16-yard run.
Long Beach turned the ball over four times, including first-quarter fumbles that led directly to two touchdowns. Ryan Craighead has thrown for 108 yards but has also been intercepted twice. LBCC's lone score came o a 5-yard pass from Craighead to Mike Evans.
