Wilson High is looking for a new varsity girls water polo coach.
Assistant principal Williams Salas confirmed Tuesday that the position is open but wouldn't give any details about how the position became open. Tony Martinho is the boys water polo coach at Wilson and has coached the girls since the program began in 1999. A source that wanted to remain anonymous confirmed Martinho will continue to coach the boys.
Several messages left for Martinho were not returned.
