An interesting nonleague girls golf match is set for today at Big Rec Park, featuring three of the better players in the area.
Moore League favorites Wilson and Poly will play Los Alamitos and Fountain Valley at 2 p.m. Wilson features senior captain Alexis Hayes, who advanced to the state regional round a year ago. Poly is led by junior Jamie Gracie, the defending Moore League individual champion. Los Al's Esther Lee may be the top player in the area. She advanced to the state finals a year ago and could win herself a state individual championship before she's through.
The same four teams will meet at Old Ranch Country Club today.
