Senior Jerry Smith has scored three touchdowns, including a 99-yard kickoff return, for Mayfair, which leads Downey 31-21 at halftime.
Smith has also scored on runs of 4 and 49 yards.
Downey has been led by senior quarterback Dallas Lopez, who has rushed for 134 yards and thrown for 59 and a score.
