Turnovers hurting Bucs

Bellflower High's football team turned the ball over three times in the first half and trails host Paramount 14-7 at halftime of their nonleague game.
The Buccaneers have thrown two interceptions and fumbled once deep in Paramount territory. The first interception was returned 70 by Jahlon Wright for a score and a 7-0 Pirate lead on the final play of the first quarter.
Bellflower looked poised to tie the game early in the second but Ryan Hundley fumbled inside the 10.
Paramount added a 23-yard TD pass from Xavier Williams to Deon Moore for a 14-0 lead. The Bucs scored in the final moments of the first half on a 6-yard run by Hundley.
