What evidence or examples do you have to support their alleged “soft” approach to pursuing arsonists ?

Thanks for showing that very interesting historical photo. In the early photos of the Altadena foothills I’ve always been struck by the lack of trees, compared to the luxuriant growth before the Station Fire. Were the trees cut down by the early settlers, or had there been a fire?
I believe it is fair to say that Larry has Napoleon’s complex.
He can dish it out in his column and blog, but God forbid anyone should challenge his holier-than-thou opinions or even his often-maligned “facts.”
Larry just can’t handle people challenging him. Case in point his public meltdown several weeks ago, when he referred to everyone whom challenged Obama’s proposed government take over of health care as “wingnuts.”
Then, Larry ignored any further debate of the issue and simply declared himself the victor.
Naturally, if Larry were confident in his ability to debate people on issues, he would do it.
But he’s much like his idol, Obama, always exclaiming, “the debate is over ! it’s time for everyone to accept my point of view…otherwise you’re just a jerk !”
It’s interesting to see the round hill without all the additional power towers hovering over it.
