Gov gives key post to Rancho resident

RaAnn Wood was sworn in yesterday as the new deputy commissioner of credit unions. The post is within the Department of Financial Institutions and had been vacant for a year. But the nightmarish economy has proved that the position needed to be filled. Wood, a Rancho resident and former CEO of the California Center Credit Union in Rancho, will work out of DFI's Los Angeles office. Congratulations, RaAnn! Can't say I envy your job.
