Nuami up for adoption

Last month, there was a fear that voters would get council candidate Dennis Gutierrez confused with Councilman Rex Gutierrez. For the sake of moniker clarity, I'd like to disclose that the adorable black kitty named Nuami at the city's adoption center is not Fontana Mayor Mark Nuaimi. The often misspelled name of the neighboring mayor has two i's.

Nuami, by the way, is a domestic shorthair. "You will find me in kennel CC28," the feline allegedly said on the center's Web site. Objectivity aside, Nuami is pretty cute.
