Thieves get bang for buck in RC
According to an A1 story by Lori Consalvo and Melissa Pinion-Whitt today, a spate of burglaries has hit the city leading to 11 arrests in two weeks. Suspects are knocking on front doors and kicking them in when nobody answers, a crime that officials are calling "a new trend."

"big rod" might be wise to take a class in sensitivity and also mix in a spelling/grammar lesson.
Hey Anonymous (classic comment back at Big Rod)
Ok, so....the obvious question I have is: where in Rancho did these occur? Are these the robberies that they caught 2 men and were looking for a 3rd? (I seem to remember reading something about that earlier this week)
And.....OMG- they knock on the door and if nobody answers they just break it down? I'm so glad I have my 3 ankle bitter dogs! :) They go nuts if a fly goes by the front door.
Sometimes moving to B.F.E. doesn't sound so bad afterall. And yes I know there's crime everywhere, but, damn.....seems like Rancho has some stuff going on lately.
Unfortunately, B.F.E. is probably where these people came from. You may not want them as your neighbors.
Ankle biters are cool!
I am wondering if this was communicated to Rancho citizens while the robberies were occuring. I live in this area and was not aware of it. It would have been nice to know about this so we could have been informed.
It is a relief to know that they have been caught but a bit troubling to realize that this was happening without any public warning or notification. I could have missed it but I am usually up on local news and activities.
