Hey ladies, learn how to kick butt
The Universal Martial Arts Centers (actually, it's just one center on 9879 Foothill near Ramona) will teach a women's self defense seminar on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $20 and proceeds will go to local elementary schools. Instructor Rick Duffy will teach participants how to escape or defend an attacker themselves.

Why would you want to learn how to defend an attacker?
Also, since the local schools have a zero tolerance policy towards fighting, even for self-defense according to S. Williams, the school resource officer for R.C., can the school districts accept money from an activity that prompts causing harm to another? Albeit, in self-defense (assuming you DON'T want to defend an attacker.)
