Biane donates $25,000 to Frontier Project
In anticipation of the Frontier Project grand opening, water district officials will host an Inaugural Green Tie Gala on Oct. 17. Supervisor Paul Biane is the top contributor for the gala so far, donating $25,000.
The Frontier Project, scheduled to open Nov. 7, is located adjacent to the Cucamonga Valley Water District headquarters. The building will be used to promote sustainable technologies in water and energy conservation.
Officials are seeking sponsorships for the gala, which will be hosted by Joel Greene, of the PBS show "Curiousity Quest." The event will include dinner, entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets for the gala are $100 per person or $1,000 for a table for 10.

Is that personal money or really CAMPAIGN money? Big difference...
It's a BUILDING people...it cost millions of dollars and it doesn't do ANYTHING! It doesn't recycle, it doesn't conserve, it doesn't filter...all it does is SHOW you what you can do as a tax paying citizen. So all the elite will gather on Nov. 7 to pat each other on the back and maybe next board election we can send the incumbents a message.
Cucamonga Water district board members spending the $
Good for Sup Biane. He has access to the money and wants to help Rancho Cucamonga okay. The real question: Is the project utilizing taxpayer dollars?
Well that's really swell of Biane. I doubt it's from his personal bank account. This does'nt sound like a very dollar wise project, however the "swells" think it is and that's all that matter's. I wonder if Burum, Gutierrez, Kurth, Williams, Michaels, Spagnolo and Biane have their own table?
Who's Money you fogot the old guard Boardmembers Jim Curatalo and Hank SToy. Both campaigned on fiscal responsibility.
Our tax dollars at work folks.
