Residents with stiff necks rejoice

The City Council gave a preliminary ok to let Massage Envy open near Henry's at the southeast corner of Base Line and Day Creek tonight. The Planning Commission would still have to set the conditions and the City Council would have to approve them.

Apparently, no massage parlors are permitted west of Haven under current zoning. The decision tonight would allow massage operations within the Victoria Arbors Master Plan, which is bordered by Base Line, Etiwanda, Foothill and Day Creek.

Thank you for letting us know.

The owner of the proposed business is a well liked and active member of the Upland and Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce's. His existing establishment is not a "parlor", so I hope the city does the right thing and allow this to happen.

Wow, they are poppin up everywhere. This is one luxury I continue to afford myself, so I assume many others feel the same way, and that is why they are a popular establishment.

I'll probably continue to go to the one in Upland since I live right off the 210 in Rancho. And, my regular massager there is amazing!
