Life on the Rancho at Rains House

History buffs might be interested in "Life on the Rancho," a tour through the John Rains House led by curator of history Michele Nielsen. The tour is 1 p.m. on Jan. 22 and is free to the public.

Participants will go back in time to the 1860s and learn about the Rains family and how Cucamonga came to be home of the state's oldest commercial winery. The Rains House is on 8810 Hemlock Street.
