Two dogs, four legs, one home
In December, I wrote about a Rancho rescue group that was looking for a home for Webster and Willa. Both dogs were missing their front legs. They were also missing a loving home. This week, Tracie Jorgensen of Mutts N' Stuff, will fly the dogs out to Shelburne Falls, Mass., where a family will be more than happy to adopt them. It turns out, the family owns Eddie's Wheels, a company that makes carts for disabled dogs.
Have fun on the East Coast, Webster and Willa!

I am so happy to see those two critters get a loving home. I just adopted one of their "pen mates" 2 weeks ago, a little chihuahua mix that was named Alf that I re-named Petey...after the Ontario Reign player Peter Lenes. They belong together and it is really a relief to see that they will be talen great care of...even if they are subjected to a little bit of marketing along the way.
Animal shelter directors should pay attention to this article. Too often, shelters deem animals "unadoptable" due to minor physical ailments, treatable illnesses etc. and the animals are needlessly killed. It takes energy, effort and a marketing strategy to help animals find homes.
