Registration has begun for the Cucamonga Challenge, an annual ride to benefit the Pacific Electric Trail. On May 8, walkers, runners and cyclists can chose their course (5K, 10K, 5 mile or 29 mile) starting at Central Park. The fundraiser, in its fifth year and organized by the
Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, promotes Healthy RC and raises money for trail enhancements.
Online registration ends 5 p.m. May 7. The cost is $40; $30 for seniors and $10 for children. Registration includes T-shirt, lunch, giveaways and a chance to win raffle prizes.

Anyway, also new this year, the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary is holding a fundraiser for the local high school clubs/groups in conjunction with the Cucamonga Challenge.
