PE Trail.jpgRegistration has begun for the Cucamonga Challenge, an annual ride to benefit the Pacific Electric Trail. On May 8, walkers, runners and cyclists can chose their course (5K, 10K, 5 mile or 29 mile) starting at Central Park. The fundraiser, in its fifth year and organized by the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, promotes Healthy RC and raises money for trail enhancements.

Online registration ends 5 p.m. May 7. The cost is $40; $30 for seniors and $10 for children. Registration includes T-shirt, lunch, giveaways and a chance to win raffle prizes.

Woohoo! I've got a photo credit!

I was wondering why that picture looked familiar.

:)

Anyway, also new this year, the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary is holding a fundraiser for the local high school clubs/groups in conjunction with the Cucamonga Challenge.

For more info on getting your student group involved, contact Karen Leever. Her email is Karen_Leever@Charter.Net.

And as always, the Cucamonga Challenge is still a great volunteer opportunity! :)
