Remember that the new passports are electronic with a new RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tracking device located in the front cover. Make sure to read about the new technology to learn how to better protect your personal information when traveling. The new passports have been scanned from afar by thieves who steal all important personal information. All new passports must have these new chips inside them, it is not a choice.

Though some believe this technology is safe and efficient, most people believe RFID is very dangerous technology that can be misused in sinister ways by corporations, governments, and criminals. While you are going to city hall to be chipped, you can swing by animal control and get your dog or cat chipped also. Now you and your pet can join millions of Americans in this brave new world experiment. See George Orwell's 1985.
