On the agenda: City Council

The sheriff's department will talk about National Night Out, which falls on Aug. 3 in this city, at tonight's City Council meeting. The council is also expected to approve the assessments of the city's landscape maintenance districts and hear about the American Society of Civil Engineers award for the Haven Avenue railway bridge.

Finally, the GIS division will get some love after receiving a Special Achievement in GIS Award at the Esri International User Conference in San Diego. The good-looking group above is the city's GIS/Special Districts division.
