We're now smack in the middle of campaign season. Can you tell? Spotted by our photographer in this pic is Haven and Base Line, where 39 signs decorated the intersection.

To find out who the City Council candidates are behind these signs, drop by the meeting of the Alta Loma Riding Club on 7 p.m. Tuesday. The club will host a candidates forum, a traditional practice of the riding community during elections seasons. Issues of hillside development and trail preservation will likely be topics of discussion. Each candidate will give an opening statement and answer a question selected at random by a moderator. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions, too.

The forum takes place at the Heritage Park community building on 5546 Beryl St.

Hi Loyal Subject, the forum will be indoors in the community building. Come early to get a seat. It's a small room and it fills up quick.
