City Council candidate Jim Moffatt is in the hospital after taking a fall on Monday. Moffatt suffered a concussion but is recovering and might leave San Antonio hospital later today.
Moffatt was putting up campaign signs on Monday when he slipped and fell. When I saw him yesterday afternoon, he told me he was seeing double and likely had a concussion. I suggested he go to the hospital but he replied, "I don't have time."
According to his son, Jimmy Moffatt, Jim broke his wrist and doctors found some bleeding behind his eye. If the bleeding stops, he should be out today.
