Rancho Cucamonga needs fresh leadership, leadership that is not linked to the unions that have dominated R.C. politics over the last decade or more. Marc Steinorth not only offers voters independence, he also offers a new vision and a fresh perspective on existing concerns that impact our city. Marc Steinorth appears to have the tools necessary to make our good city better.

Fresh Leadership is right! Marc runs a excellent business model, why not have someone with the experience, knowledge and straight forward business education and ethics to help shape our city into a clean running machine. It makes absolute sense that running for office should be conducted with a business mentality versus the current and past politics based operations. I belive firm heartily that Marc's background and fresh ideas can lead us all into a better future that will create beneficial high qualities that all citizens of Rancho Cucamonga will benefit.

"any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the exsisting government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is most valuable - a most sacred right -a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world"
Abraham Lincoln-

Vote Change. Vote Marc.

Our city, like many others has fallen victim to business as usual for far too long. Marc Steinorth gives us an opportunity to not settle for the way things have been. His business acumen and level head are exactly what our great city needs. His leadership will allow Rancho Cucamonga to be an example in Southern California during these unsettling political times.

John Hess said:

It's time we wake up and realize that politicians don't create jobs - nor do they loose them. Our government can only create an environment which encourages businesses to thrive (or to cower in fear as our current representatives seem to be bent on doing).

As a small business owner, I don't think anyone running gets this concept as well as Marc Steinorth.

If we want to see Rancho thrive again, we need to vote for a mayor who will encourage businesses rebuild in the blighted neighborhoods. We need Marc for Mayor.

Being a businessman Marc Steinorth has what the city needs to finally help put more people to work. He understands what we need to keep the city moving in the right direction. We've had enough of the lifetime politicans trying to make the city a better place for their friends, what about the rest of us? Its time we get fresh new ideas to make the city better for everyone.

Marc Steinorth values are exactly what our city needs to be the pinnacle town of the Inland Valley! I have personally seen the quality human being that Marc Steinorth is and in no way shape or form is he a politician! Marc is a driving force in the business community, representing the qualities that will take Rancho Cucamonga to the the top of the list of top places to live, and will bring a leadership that will drive our city to a stronger financial future.

I have personally witnessed the actions of Marc Steinorth and I urge all voters in our city to make the right choice. Vote Marc Steinorth!

Marc4Mayor

As citizens of Rancho Cucamonga we have witnessed failed economic policies, "buddy system" politics and entrenched career city politicians steer our idyllic home into a perfect storm of empty buildings, anti-small business practices and unemployment. We need fresh leadership. We need a mayor who will reach out to businesses and bring them to our city. We need a mayor who understands private sector job creation is job one. We need a mayor who is not afraid to trim bloated salaries and pensions-- and who is not in the pocket of unions and developers. Marc Steinorth is such a man.

I have known Marc for three years and have had the honor to serve with him on our HOA where he presides as President. He cares about family, friends, neighbors and most importantly "we" citizens of Rancho. He is smart. He is compassionate. He is the man for our times. We need him leading our city government. Please join me in supporting Marc Steinorth as our next mayor.

Fresh leadership is Marc Steinorth's vision, and fresh leadership is exactly what we need to restore our great city it its natural roots. We all are going through rough times and long for a positive change. Now the time has come, where we as the citizens of Rancho Cucamonga have the ability to help bring in a leader that will stand up for what is right, someone that has a background in business and can help get Rancho Cucamonga back on its feet, and lastly someone who truly cares about the every day person living in Rancho Cucamonga. It is time to get rid of the politicians with special interests and money hungry agendas, and elect a leader that will do great things for our city.
Vote for Marc for a better tomorrow

Marc brings a passion for a city that I have never seen. He loves RC and you can see and feel this when speaking with him about this city.

We all know passion is not enough, many are passionate about many things, yet lack the knowledge and experience to make a significant change. Marc has the knowledge and experience to bring growth to businesses across RC, he has been in business doing just this quite successfully for many years.

He also brings strong conservative fiscal values to the table. He understands the meaning of limited government. Marc is in this for the right reasons, not for power, not for money but for the people and the community. I am looking forward to seeing Marc win in Nov and watching RC grow by leaps and bounds.

GimmeABreak said:

All this "limited government" and "get the career politicians out" rhetoric sounds a lot like the TEA PARTY agenda wacko thinking that has risen up as of late. People, you can't have it both ways. You want all the services government has to offer but don't want to pay for them. By the way, a small local mayor has no power to change the economy. It is a global issue so stop pretending this guy can create jobs for RC when politicians and businessmen with 100x his power have failed to do so.

JB said:

Stop the Fire union! Reverse salary and benefits for public unions who have for years advocated a pay and benefits structure that is unsustainable for the tax payer. Reduce taxes by reducing public salaries!

GimmeANewMayor said:

R.C. citizens can keep their heads in the sand like GimmeABreak proclaims, or exercise a change in leadership through our elective process.

Belief in the power of change via democracy is the conerstone of our society. If GimmeABreak does not understand that, then who is the true wacko?

GimmeABreak said:

We got change barely two years ago when Obama and the Democrats swept the elections with record voter turnout and margins of victory. That was Democracy my friend. Now that you are suffering the results of 8 years of failed policies you want to take it out on the public servants? It's not their fault they still have jobs. Let's fire all the government workers and make society worse off, the unemployment rate higher, & add more people to the list who can't pay their mortgage. Makes sense to me! LOL!

What a refreshing candidate to run for Mayor of Rancho Cucamonga. You definitely have my vote, I am so tired of business as usual. We need Fresh Leadership and no more business as usual.
I voted absentee and YOU were my pick! I hope you win, God Bless!

I like what You stand for.
It is very hard to turn things around but I believe You can do it.
Good luck

The Mayor seats is ONLY 1 vote out of 5! If you want true change you have to vote all incumbents out and start with fresh leadership including council seats so you have 3 vote majority.

Loyal Subject said:

Thank you for coming to our neighborhood, you are the most caring, charismatic and refreshing representative to serve and lead our city.
Our citizens will truly see what a wonderful change in leadership you would be for this city instead of the tired old business as usual group that has been bought by special interests.
I wish everyone could meet you and see your enthusiasm, dynamic energy and positive ideas for this city. Hope to see you City Council meetings and hear you speak to the citizens....
You will win, you are doing it the right way.
All the best.....

Karen in Rancho said:

To concerned citizens of Rancho...are you sure you KNOW who Marc Steinorth is? Just because he is new and charismatic, does not mean he will be an effective, HONEST, successful mayor for our city! He claims not to be a politician, ok then WHO IS HE? What are his successes and in what, where??? Marc, your MESSAGE is EMPTY and we seem to know little of you besides your UPLAND business is struggling! What is your motivation, what do you want from our city...a SECOND JOB?? Funding your business is not our concern...and it better not come from RANCHO CUCAMONGA TAX DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So...WHO are you really, Marc Steinorth??? What is your motivation? your track record?
My vote goes to experience, wisdom and proven success as a loyal, devoted citizen of Rancho...DENNIS MICHAEL!!!

Leslie G. said:

It's obvious that Karen doesn't know Marc Steinorth. He is a smart, articulate, caring individual that wants to serve his city. Not only is he the only mayoral candidate with a college degree, but he is also a very succesful businessman and to suggest otherwise is erroneous. Marc does not need a second job, and is representative of the city's demographic (young, hardworking and family focused). The last thing RC needs is another public union member in city government. RC needs fresh leadership, and Marc is the leadership we need.

P.S. Karen - we all know that Dennis Michael's motivation is to keep his 6-figure pension intact. Welcome to Bell people!

Karen Plumhoff - Alta Loma said:

Since I didn't know who Marc Steinorth was, I did what any responsible voter would do - I researched & even contacted him directly. We had a very informative conversation. I'm ready for citizens that have good business experience, a fresh outlook, and common sense to join the City Council. Time to cut thru the garbage and get back to basics. As a side note, last night campaign signs for Marc Steinorth and Mike Morrell were stolen from lawns on my street. The 1 sign for Dennis Michael remains. Hmmmm...

Karen in Rancho said:

To Leslie G and Karen in Alta Loma: But, I DO KNOW MARC and if you knew him on the level I do, you would not be saying what you are...he TALKS a great TALK, I know! In addition, I DO KNOW about HIS BUSINESS and I do know how deceptive he can be. EVERYONE CAN TALK, but what about walking the walk? And, you are going to tell me a college degree makes a person who they are...does it really?? There are many dishonest, selfish people who have college degrees!! Again, fresh leadership doesn't mean experienced, successful leadership...it seems a few people from Alta Loma need to check out our city, Rancho Cucamonga!

It's also interesting to note that the people commenting here can actually spell and use proper grammar. Is that a measure about the base of support for Marc, or does it simply mean that more educated people are finally getting involved?

Whatever the outcome, candidates like Marc get people interested in their city, and that can't be a bad thing.

Michael K. said:

Karen of Rancho, it appears from the tone and content of your message that you have a personal grudge or bias against Marc. Could it be that he represents an ethical and professional standard that you lack? If so, your tainted opinion is not of voter concern. The residents of Rancho Cucamonga are interested in strong, competent, and trustworthy leadership that represents the best interest of our community, without regard for personal gain. This quality has been conspicuously absent in our local governance for too long. Those of us who know Marc have no doubt the he will be an excellent mayor who will govern with skill and integrity.

Tom in RC said:

Stephen: I can spell, use proper grammar, have always been involved and have an interest in our city...my VOTE GOES TO DENNIS.

Karen in Rancho said:

To Michael K with due respect (since I do not know you)...are you a woman? have you ever had a business encounter with Marc? I do not know you, so I do not understand why you would make such a judgement against my character? My opinion is not a grudge or bias against Marc. My comments are based on my experience with him and a deep concern for my city, if he becomes mayor. It is far too often candidates are voted into office without adequate skills or related experience...true? What is Marc's experience, what are his skills based on, his small Upland business? It sounds as if you are a friend, of course he would expect your support. I am only a concerned citizen and have already seen Marc in action...no thanks!

Fed up in Rancho said:

Tom in RC, If you like being controled by the fire union vote for Dennis. If you want some control over your tax dollars vote for Marc.

Tom in RC said:

Fed up in Rancho: Who are you going to call when your home is threatened with fire...Marc? Why do people have such a problem with the compensation of our community servants? Do they not put their lives on the line daily? Do they protect YOU and your loved ones? Our tax dollars are exactly where they should be in this community, look around. My family is safe. Not taking a chance with inexperience playing with city revenue, my vote goes to Mr. Michael.

Loyal Subject said:

Tom in RC:
When my home is is threatened with fire, I call 911 not the MAYOR! So you need a puppet to dangle more money to Firemen just so they won't strike for more money and let your home burn? Its obvious you are Fire Dept or related. Call the Fire Dept. when you break your arm patting yourself on the back, you'll feel better.
Vote out all Fire Union backed candidates, especially Dennis Michael!

Tom in RC said:

To Loyal Subject: Peace, brother! Nope, not a city, county or state employee...private sector, no pension. It seems you have some bad blood against the fire fighters? Not me, I love our city and how it's being managed...again, my vote goes to Dennis. VOTE informed.

Excellent beat ! I would like to apprentice whilst you amend your website, how could i subscribe for a blog site? The account helped me a acceptable deal. I had been tiny bit acquainted of this your broadcast provided shiny transparent idea
