Seven days to election
If you have a question for any of the City Council candidates, drop by Central Park tonight at 6:30 for the candidates debate.
Jerie Lee, a member of the senior advisory committee, worked hard to get this event going. The forum almost didn't happen because Lee couldn't afford the fee to rent out David Dreier Hall. But all the candidates pitched in and there's even leftover funds for refreshments.
Planning Commissioner Rich Fletcher will moderate.

Can't make meeting tonight. Somebody please ask all incumbent city council members why they voted to overpay $33 million dollars in redevelopment funds in 2007. Vote was unanimous, with Kurth abstaining.
All incumbents should be voted out of office (three are running for council or mayor)!
Its time that city government is run by homeowners and not by fire department.
Hopefully, someone will ask Mark Steinorth about his homeowner's association and the law suits they are involved in? Isn't Mark the President? Hmmmm, this does not sound like honest management experience to me? And he's running for Mayor? Just a thought to consider, maybe someone can set the facts straight?
Good job Jerie Lee and others.
To: Marc Steinorth
We receive your ad flyers, but notice that you do not say HOW YOU CAN IMPROVE OUR COMMUNITY, you ONLY dwell on other city problems. How do voters know your intentions, how can we trust the unknown? Because most read (from your ads), well, we see nothing about your accomplishments. Times are tough, our community needs proven experience and dedication. People, vote wisely, not on a whim or on what you GUESS someone may do. Our vote confidently goes to Dennis Michael.
