Another Zendejas on the way

| | Comments (2) |
The Zendejas family is a big one. Tony owns a restaurant in San Dimas. Raul owns a taco truck and is opening a restaurant on Foothill east of Vineyard. Jose owns another restaurant in the Chino Spectrum. They're all called Zendejas.

In the next couple of months, the large and beautiful restaurant on Foothill and Milliken will be turned into Zendejas, now that the Planning Commission has said yes to a request for conditional use and entertainment permits. Jose Zendejas will take over the space once occupied by Las Campanas, which closed about two years ago. I hope Zendejas keeps the heated floors in the outdoor patio despite the huge carbon footprint it leaves.

By the way, happy birthday to Jose Zendejas, who turns 60 today. I guess the Planning Commission gave him a nice gift.

we had a very bad experience at this zendejas location on milliken and foothill, sizzling fajitas were not at right temperature, did not sizzle...menudo was cold, tasted like as it came from a can...waitress does not understand english ...bad service and bad attitude ....rude customer service of female manager......will not go back to this restaurant ...they need to improve their service if not i would not be surprise if they closed down for business in the future..... prices of menu were overpriced.......
