City Council meeting hits the road

| | Comments (2) |
Mayor Dennis Michael wants to bring the City Council to the people. Rather than asking residents to come to the Council Chambers on Wednesday evenings, he wants to hold several mobile meetings in the community.

On March 7 at 10 a.m., the City Council will hold a meeting at the Central Park senior center and discuss the services for the elderly.

Could this mean that the Council members like to there business without anybody there?

Sounds innocent enough but Mariann is on to something I think. Remember Michael pontificated this city council would the most transparent and honest in the cities history, however, the council members soon decided they didn't need to give their opinion on everything they voted on. Watch for development contracts.
