Much cheaper than a Valentine's dinner

The VFW, on 8751 Industrial Lane, will host a pasta dinner to benefit the Ladies' Auxillary programs for veterans and their families Friday night. A spaghetti meatball dinner with salad and garlic bread will be served for a donation of $5 from 6 to 8 p.m. Santos -- a duo who plays disco, rock, Latin, country western, oldies and easy listening -- will perform 7 to 10 p.m.
