Little league thanks troops

The Alta Loma Little League wants to spread a little love on their opening day. The team is asking families to bring items for care packages that will be sent to troops overseas. The goal is to assemble 100 packages from 8 a.m. to noon on March 12 at Heritage Park.

A pancake breakfast will be served. The park is at Hillside Road and Beryl Street. Read below for a list of what items to bring.
