Calling all gardeners

The Sam Maloof compound will host a pruning and planting workshop on March 19 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Volunteer gardeners of all experience levels are invited to help out with planting, pruning and hands-on learning at the Maloof Discovery Garden. Gardeners are encouraged to bring their clippers, shovels and other tools. The Maloof foundation is on 5131 Carnelian St.
