Finally, a new heart

lauren hope.jpgLauren Hope Gentry, the little girl featured in the Daily Bulletin two weeks ago, has received a new heart. Lauren, 4, who was born with a heart defect, has been waiting for a heart transplant since November. She has been stuck at the Loma Linda Children's Hospital ever since.

According to friends of the family, Lauren went into surgery early this morning and got her new heart at 7 a.m.

Get well, Lauren. The entire community is rooting for you!
