LMD, a perennial topic

The City Council on Wednesday kick-started a process for a special vote in regards to landscape maintenance. This affects Landscape Maintenance District 2, or the Victoria Planned Community, which is generally located south of the 210 Freeway and west of East Avenue.

If you own property in this district, you should be getting a letter this weekend about a community meeting scheduled for March 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Rancho Cucamonga High School. The meeting takes place in the multi-purpose room. The school is on 11801 Lark Drive.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform residents about the upcoming mail-in ballot. City Hall staff members also want to know how much property owners are willing to pay for landscape maintenance.
