Clamping down on advertising trailers

| | Comments (0) |
It'll soon be easier for the police to cite advertising trailers that park in one spot to display its billboards.

The City Council approved an ordinance on Wednesday clamping down on these trailers following complaints from the public. Advertising trailers that park in one spot for more than 72 hours will be cited. Trailers that are cited the second time will be towed. The new regulations go into effect in about 30 days.

Under the current ordinance, advertising trailers are towed after five citations.
