"Evita" opens Friday night at the Lewis Family Playhouse. The musical about Argentina's controversial first lady is a Broadway at the Gardens production.

The show will be staged April 8-10 and April 15-17 at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $34; $32 for seniors.

Broadway at the Gardens premiered three years ago with a production of Sweeney Todd. The production was created with adult theatergoers in mind and to supplement the playhouse's family-friendly offerings.
