99 Ranch agreement withdrawn

As of last night, it seemed 99 Ranch Market and the South Coast Air Quality Management District were in a preliminary agreement as to hiring a consultant with regards to the odor issue at the Base Line Road market. But this morning, those negotiations are at a deadlock and the district withdrew the agreement.

Today, the AQMD hearing board continues its hearing, now in day 3. Whether the board will reach a decision on the fate of the market today is not known.
