Hair cuts to help local family

| | Comments (7) |
Hair Phases Salon, 7211 Haven Ave., will host a cut-a-thon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. All proceeds that day will be donated to the Cota family.

Last Saturday, Bernard Cota, a senior at Rancho Cucamonga High School, was riding his bicycle near Milliken Avenue and Terra Vista Parkway when he collided with a car. Cota, or Bernie as his friends call him, had emergency brain surgery and is currently in a coma.

Cota's mother, Denise, is a stylist at Hair Phases. On Sunday, money made from haircuts and other donations will go to the Cota family.

Update: Unfortunately, Bernard Cota is not going to make it. Family members are currently making arrangements to have his organs donated. The cut-a-thon will be postponed until Aug. 7. The event is expected to raise funds for the funeral.

I knew Bernie as mine and my late husband, deputy Ron Ives, neighbors here in upland. Bernie was a wonderful son to Denise and Bernard. Im very sorry that he did not survive. I hope he sees Ron in heaven.

Thank you, I have just been looking for information about this subject for a long time and yours is the best I've found out till now. But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you sure about the supply?|What i don't understood is in truth how you're not actually much more neatly-appreciated than you may be now. You're so intelligent.
