Golf tourney to benefit pets

Putt 4 Paws, an annual fundraiser for the Animal Care and Adoption Center, will take place on Aug. 13 at Boomer's in Upland. The miniature golf tournament, from 3:30 to 7 p.m., is hosted by the animal center and P.A.W. Love Pet Food Bank, an organization that provides pet food for pet owners with limited income.

Tickets are $20; $75 for a team of four. Participants will get to chose between Storyland and Cosmic Golf courses. There will be prizes, raffle and a buffet.
