Creative comics fans should mark this on their calendars: 24-Hour Comics Day on Oct. 1.

That day, amateur and professional cartoonists can participate by writing, drawing and lettering a 24-page comic book in 24 hours. Cartoonists of all ages are welcomed to take part in this extreme cartooning.
