The exhibit features more than 30 pieces of Maloof's work in addition to approximately 80 pieces from his friends including painters Millard Sheets and Karl Benjamin. The Los Angeles Times interviewed the curator of the show in an article this past weekend.

"The House That Sam Built" is part of Pacific Standard Time, a collaboration of Southern California cultural institutions with a goal to tell the story of the Los Angeles art scene.
