Bookstore says thanks to local teachers

Tomorrow is the start of Educator Appreciation Week at Barnes and Noble, 11090 Foothill Blvd. Educators who sign up for a free discount card will receive 25 percent off classroom and personal purchases through Oct. 22. On Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., there will be a reception with prizes, refreshments and an opportunity to win a $500 gift card.
