Linder's no more
Linder's Furniture, which made headlines when it held a grand opening early last year with the sales of 3D televisions, is closing. All of its 11 Southern California locations are closing, including the Rancho Cucamonga superstore on 11750 Fourth St. Liquidation sales are currently underway. The store could close January or February.
The Garden Grove-based furniture retailer opened February 2010, taking over a 50,000-square-foot store once occupied by Wickes Furniture. Wickes was among the furniture companies that filed for bankruptcy following the crash of the housing market.
According to Linder's website, $20 million worth of furniture will be liquidated across its stores. A message on the website reads, "On behalf of Linders and Legacy Furniture, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you that due to unfortunate economic circumstances we are forced to close all of our 11 locations and go out of business forever!"

One of your outstanding places, Felipe's has closed, also.
Meanwhile, Pho Rancho is now open.
I was sad to see Felipe's closed. Although the last time I went, it seemed management had changed. Where's Pho Rancho? I'm always up for a new pho restaurant.
Pho Rancho is in the Trader Joe's plaza, a few doors from Aloha King. We don't seem to have a shortage of pho places in Rancho. Asking Santa to give us just one real ramen shop, like that of SSG, Daiko, or FFT.
Felipe's spot already has a new tenant, Stevie Dee's Cafe.
OMG, Edwin. A real ramen place would be amazing.
We went to Linders a few weeks ago... OMG.. the prices are shocking. No wonder they are closing. Despite massive lines at Costco, there were 2 customers in the entire Linders store.
I'd be more than willing to sacrifice a sushi place or two for a ramen place...
Andy, I'm guessing "OMG the prices are shocking" doesn't mean shockingly good. ... Yeah, why are so many sushi places mediocre?
