Habitat for Humanity looking for family

The Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity is getting ready to build a 4-bedroom home in Rancho Cucamonga. To apply, you must attend an orientation meeting. Register for the meeting by calling 909-596-7098.

To qualify, you must:
Be a Rancho Cucamonga resident for at least a year
Earn income that falls within 30 to 50 percent of area median income
Pay a 30-year no-interest loan
Put in at least 250 hours of sweat equity
Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
Not own any real estate
Not currently live in section 8 or other subsidized housing
Have good credit
Make a $2,500 down payment
