Today's article on Fresh and Easy lists the 12 stores that will close temporarily.

Here is a list of the Tesco-owned markets that are opening. None are in the Inland Empire.

* Laguna Niguel opening Feb. 1
  San Francisco opening Feb. 1

  Granada Hills opening Feb. 8
* Los Angeles (Figueroa Street and Jefferson Boulevard) opening Feb. 15
* denotes smaller, "Express" stores

ahh... so that explains the Loma Linda store. Great report.

Fresh and slEasy has great selection. They choose excellent products. I don't care much for brands. Not to mention that many of the mainstream brands are not very good, but I don't think american consumers care for quality. They would rather see familiar brands.

Overall, they are good for grocery, not so good for produce. I hope the more of the Ralphs will go under and F&E taking it's place (i.e. Ralphs on Baseline and Miliken), I would frequent Fresh and slEasy more.
