Fresh off the presses....

The pollsters are done with the lastest CIF rankings and there has been several implicaions regarding local teams. In another big move, the Redlands High School girls' cross country team has seen itself rise all the way to No. 3 in the latest CIF Division I poll. With first-place finishes at the Don Bosco Tech and Woodbridge Invitationals, the Terriers only have two teams (Saugus and Esperanza) to look above them. On the football side, Redlands East Valley continues its ascent up the Inland Division poll at No. 4. With two noteworthy victories over Riverside North and Colton, the Wildcats will look to complete the hat trick against Compton Dominguez on Friday - the No. 1 team in the Western Division. The Arrowhead Christian Academy girls' volleyball team falls from No. 2 to 5 after a week that saw them lost to Calvary Chapel Murrieta, which just happens to be the No. 1 team in Division IV-A. And last but not least is the Redlands High School water polo team, which opened the season with an impressive victory against Murrieta Valley and rose from No. 4 to 3. But a loss to that very same Murrieta Valley team at the Riverside Poly Tournament may have very well denied the Terriers a shot at the top spot.
