RHS still winless...

The Terriers were unable to put their first W on the board Friday night, falling to Carter High School by a 22-7 score.
RHS head coach Jim Walker was in no mood for words following the loss, taking issue with the officiating crew over several issues and likely a little flustered after another tough effort went for naught.

It was a tight 15-7 game in the fourth quarter, as the Terriers were looking to possibly tie the game. But on their first play of the comeback drive, quarterback Jacob Brock tossed an intercpetion, giving the Lions the ball on the RHS 28.
Four plays later, the Lions scored a touchdown to put the game away.
Carter dominated the game on the ground, rushing for 294 total yards and dominating ball possession. Senior running back Ramon Morris was especially effective, rumbling for 144 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
For the Terriers, senior wide receiver Cody Smith had a solid game with six catches for 89 yards. He turned in the highlight play of the game, hauling in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Brock in the third quarter. With a defender draped all over him, Smith bobbled the ball at first before maintaining possession and was just able to keep his feet inbounds.
It was one of the few RHS bright spots on the night.
On the injury front, junior running back Cameron Phillips left the game in the second quarter and did not return.
Walker said that Phillips suffered a sprained ankle.
RHS will look to get on the winning side of things next Friday when they host Fontana.
