A quick glance at the latest CIF rankings that were released Monday meant good news for the Redlands High School girls' cross country team and Redlands East Valley football team.
Fresh off another winning performance at the Iolani Invitational, the Terriers are now ranked second in the CIF Division I cross country polls. Only Saugus stands ahead of them.
It seems that even when RHS was out of state, the CIF voters were still paying attention to the Terriers.
Over on the football side of things, REV now stands No. 3 in the latest Inland Division poll with No. 1 Corona Centennial and No. 2 Vista Murrieta in front.
The Wildcats (3-0) will begin their Citrus Belt League this Friday at Eisenhower (3-0).
And let's give a high five to the REV girls' volleyball team, which enters the CIF Division II-A rankings at No. 8. The Wildcats had a perfect week of league play, including an impressive three-game sweep at Yucaipa.
