UR's Nakamura sidelined...

University of Redlands senior volleyball players Lori Nakamura, the team's top reurning outside hitter, has been sidelined for the past week with a sore ankle.
According to head coach Mari Burningham, Nakamura paid a visit to the doctor on Tuesday and was ordered to wear a boot to minimize the amount she uses her ankle, where she has been suffering pain on the inside and outside.
Burningham is hopeful that Nakamura could return within a week or so.
Nakamura hurt her ankle in a Sept. 18 match against the University of La Verne. She returned after suffering the injury, but was not the same in a three-game loss.
The Bulldogs are currently 9-8 overall and 2-1 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. They will travel to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Friday night.
