CBL football games in limbo

With the local sports schedules all jumbled due to the ongoing wildfires, a meeting this morning between the eight Citrus Belt League school principals will decide the fate of the Week 8 slate of CBL football games.
While Redlands East Valley has already made the proper plans to play Carter High School tonight in La Quinta, it appears possible that all four games this week could be cancelled and not played at all.
RHS athletic director Ken Morse hinted that it's a real possibility, noting that there's an "80 percent" chance that the Terriers' game tonight against A.B. Miller may not go as scheduled.
If the principals decide to cancel this week altogether, the playoff picture in the CBL could see some unexpected tweaks.
Until then, let's hope a proper decision is made.
