Terriers advance to State Meet....

They needed to place among the top seven.
Sixth place will do.
The Redlands High School girls’ cross country team reached a season-long goal, advancing to the CIF State Meet at Saturday’s CIF Finals.
The big hero of the day was senior Meredith Robie, who earned all-CIF honors thanks to a 13th place finish out of 117 runners.
Robie’s time was 17:55.
Overall, the Terriers ran a team time of 92 minutes and 32 seconds, 20 seconds better than last week’s run at the CIF prelims.
Now it’s onto next Saturday State Meet in Fresno for the Terriers, who according to Anzai are the first-ever RHS girls’ cross country team to reach the special meet.
Suagus High School claimed the team title, running an amazing team time of 88:22. They finished with 37 team points, compared to second-place Esperanza’s 123 and the Terriers’ 170.
