REV ends perfect season for RHS...

The thrid time was indeed the charm for the Redlands East Valley boys’ basketball team, which stunned Redlands High School in a Wednesday night Citrus Belt League battle, 83-72.
REV’s victory ends the Terriers’ perfect season and also sets up a Friday night showdown with Eisenhower High School for an outright CBL title at Terrier Gym.
Down 58-53 after the third quarter, the Wildcats went on a 30-14 run in the fourth.
A key turning point was when RHS senior center Alex Wolpe fouled out of the game with 3:31 remaining. The Wildcats held a 69-67 lead at the time and took charge from that point.
Four REV players scored in double figures, including 23 points and 12 rebounds from senior center Jammall Clark and 22 from senior guard Robert Ellis.
RHS sophomore guard Matt Green led the Terriers with 21 points.
