Should the EPA strengthen air quality standards?
Some officials are urging the federal Environmental Protection Agency to tighten ozone control standards, saying that would greatly reduce the number deaths caused by smog. Should the EPA enact new air quality standards despite reservations from manufacturers, who warned tougher measures could lead to job loss?

This is all a moot point!
Mexican trucks start rolling into our nation Saturday and all the restrictions on our citizens won't equal the polution and deaths these trucks will equal.

Manufacturers always threaten the possibility of job losses when they are really concerned about the probability of profit losses. In an investor driven economy, however, a profit loss may result in their own job loss.
