credence given to one game than the SC/ucla game from last year. Can we look at the entire body of work for ucla? Six losses, another bowl game defeat and zero BCS games during the past five years.
And even if they have a good year, it's one and done. They have very few young people playing, and their two deep is loaded with walk-ons. After this year it's curtains.
You get respect by playing at a high level for a sustained period of time. Not one game, not one season.
I agree that UCLA needs consistency to re-emerge on the cfb scene, but to say the two deep is loaded with walk-ons is wrong. There are two walk-ons from UC Davis that are playing well, but UCLA's recruiting has improved over the last couple of years and these guys are getting time. Look at the stats from yesterday's game and see how many new names played significant snaps.
